Frequently Asked Questions
1. Q: What insurance do you accept?
Answer: We are an in-network provider for the following insurance companies:
Blue Cross / Blue Shield
Health Alliance
Health Link
CIGNA
AETNA
United Behavioral Health
Hope Trust Health
2. Q: What will my cost be per therapy session?
With an in-network insurance provider:
Answer: This will depend on your specific insurance policy. Usually, the cost per therapy session is similar to the cost of a visit with your primary care physician. If you want to know what your specific insurance policy covers, call the number or visit the website on the back of your insurance card to learn what will be covered for “behavioral health” services.
Without insurance or an out-of-network insurance provider:
Answer: This depends on your insurance policy and insurance company. Please check with your insurance company.
What will my cost be if I pay out of my pocket per visit? The cost will be $120.00 per each 50 minute session.
We will bill your insurance company for you after each appointment and keep you up to date on your insurance company’s responses.
3. Q: Do you accept Medicare or Medicaid?
Answer: No, we are unable to accept these types of payments.
5. Q: What will my first session be like?
Answer: Your first appointment is different from any other. During this session, we will discuss expectations for your therapy experience as well as get to know one another. Together, we will explore and unpack what you are going through as well as gain an understanding of the various areas of your life that impact you: family, friends, work, stressors, triggers, challenges, childhood, sleep, etc.
6. Q: What can I expect to take away from my therapy sessions?
Answer: Clients leave their sessions feeling heard and understood, validated appropriately, challenged when necessary, enlightened through discussion, and empowered to make positive changes towards their goals. Each session is unique in that you may leave with a different take away each time. Sometimes you will leave with a feeling, perhaps a sense of possibility, hope, encouragement, assurance, understanding, or motivation to make changes. Other times you will leave with new information, new perspectives, new ideas, or new tools and strategies for addressing and managing the stressors in your life. We are committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment where we can discuss difficult issues and intense emotions at your pace.
